Most people dream of finding a great supplier to find designer handbags. Not to worry we are going to discuss how the system works and that you can find designer handbags such as coach and dooney bourke that you can purchase at wholesale prices. Whether you are looking for handbags for yourself or looking to make some money reselling them you can find the source that you need to be successful.

Learn about: Louis Vuitton

The handbag market is very lucrative and many women seek to find the bags that they love so much. One of the most important things that you want to do is make sure you find a legitimate supplier that only deals with selling the real deal. It can be very frustrating searching on the internet and finding what seems to be a great handbag at a unbelievable price and you are stuck with the choice of deciding whether it is a good deal or not.

Get Information on: Luxury Handbags

The most important thing is you do not want to find a place that is going to scam you. It is important that you stay with a reputable source that you can trust. There are dozens of places that are online and are nothing more than big scams that will sell you list that are worthless and will only cost you money.

It is important to know that all legitimate sources will offer you a money back guarantee. They will also not charge you upfront to join some bogus club. A legitimate source will also provide you with there full name and number because they should have nothing to hide.

I did a blog on this..but thought I’d stick over here too.

Fakes from Asia of Asian Antiques are Everywhere!

A couple of years ago I wrote a guide for buying Asian works of art and in particular Chinese and Japanese porcelain on Ebay.

Back then it was pretty bad, today the caution needed is three times as tough. The forgers in China have gotten much better, after all practice makes perfect. Today no only are the fakes of Chinese things superb, but alas they are now making really really really great fakes of Japanese Imari. They have been making these for a number years anyway, but of late they have gotten amazingly good.

In particular be on the lookout for FAKE Chinese Song, Ming and Qing Bronzes. They are easy to make and to age and are VERY VERY hard to detect. They are all over the palce now.

Repro Jades are and have bee a big problem for a while now. Be carefull especially of white jade, jades can easily be carved by machine and buffed out to resemble the real thing with great ease. Major auction houses have already been stuck with them and are now being extremely carefull on taking Jade Consignments.

RULES FOR BUYING are these:

NEVER , EVER buy ANYTHING being sold as Antique from China. PERIOD. Please don’t argue about this with me. 99.5% of whats being sold is NEW. I know how good they look, the feet are good, the color is great, all the little imperfections you’ve read about in Hobson’s books are there..right? Well, its a fake.

The latest problem is the number of well known live auctioneers selling the fakes. Before I go ANY further, these auctioneers KNOW what they are selling are fakes. They just advertise them pretending ignorance. “Gee it came from a house here in town” or “A really good picker brought them in”. ALL a pack of fibs.

One auction house in Maryland many of you know buy container loads of copies in Hong Kong and Shanghai and sell them as real. Sure some pieces get sent back, but many don’t.

I know my saying all this might sound a bit harsh, but as a dealer of 33 years I can tell you, this is a MAJOR problem. The reality is if you see what looks like a rarity from a Chinese dealer in Asia saying he’s trying to build a business buy selling things VERY reasonably or with ads so badly written in English you think..”Ahh huh!! this guy doesn’t know what he is selling..” call me so I can have someone come to your house to slap you for being stupid. Chinese dealers ARE CHINESE and THEY know very very well what they are selling and they know they are selling fakes to gullible Americans who think they are Smarter than Asian dealers. Well I am here to tell you, YOU’RE Not!

Ok…so have I said this firmly enough? If you have some “amazing” things from China you think are authentic on your watch page..FORGET IT..delete them. REPROS!!!

Spend your time looking through listings here in the States, England and Holland. But still be careful. Be very careful of Chinese looking sites or Ebay sellers whose spaces are just loaded with Imperial Bowls, Xuande Ming pieces, Rare Song Bowls, Superb Song Jades, Ming Jades, Qing Jades coming form Asian dealers on Ebay.

Santa Claus doesn’t spend his “Off Time” on Ebay giving away millions of dollars of Asian Art..or anything else for that matter.

Please read this!!

..and one more thing, if you buy or own luxury goods and don’t care whether or not they are bootleg knockoffs. Please STOP! Your fake bag, belt, scarf, hat, shoes, necktie..is the result 100% of the time of the practice of forced Child Slavery.

Whatever it is, it was made or handled by child slaves, 100% child slave involvement. Scary stuff…

If you are a father or a mother please do remember buying these illegal kniockoffs support the trade in Child Slavery throughout the world.

It is estimated that several hundred thousand children are forced laborers in this horrifying system, do not support it.

All the bootleggers do use child slaves..ALL OF THEM.

So if you’re or your wife are walking around with a designer knock off Gucci, Armani, Coach or Louis Vuitton product knock off (to name but a few) just know as a FACT…some little kid in Asia is getting used as a slave in conditions you wouldn’t let a dog live in to make them for you.

Oh when I say little, I mean many kids as young as 5 years old, yes 5 years old! These kids never get an education, often are abused in EVERY manner imaginable. You might be helping to keep it going..so please please don’t this stuff. Buy the real thing..or live with what you have and let these kids have a chance…..

I DO hope this information reaches many people, if they do not know..if you agree..Vote on this post!

Okay so you all are wondering why would she say that, whay would whe tell people to stop trying to help us when buying authentic item!!! Well it’s simple…. these people do not work for any of these companies and are not affiliated in any way shape or form with these companies…. So what does that mean??? That means that some of them really dont have a clue what they’re speaking or typing about.

For instance the reviews written on Louis Vuitton items…. let me clarify what I believe is and what is NOT true. Okay I am not affiliated with any of these companies either but some things are just ridiculous that are written in these reveiws.

Lets do this, lets play True or False……

Louis Vuitton never puts plastic around the handles of their bags…..

FALSE!!!

- Louis Vuitton does put plastic around the handles, the bag does not have to be purchased off display or be special ordered to have plastic around the handles… that just sounds crazy!

Louis Vuitton never puts tissue paper around the hardware on their merchandise……

TRUE!!!

This may or may not be true…okay how do we know that LV doesnt put this on the hardware in their warehouse? Or maybe the associates are required to take off the paper before the item is ready for sell and an associate just didnt do it? exactly we dont know because we dont work there… But in my own experience I dont think that they do because I have never seen it but have seen it alot in flea markets or on street corners so I am going to agree with this one so my answer is TRUE.

If a seller has no feedback the item that they are selling is not Authentic……..

FALSE!!!

How can that be true when we all have to start from zero feedback….. and then when these powersellers get their feedback up they go and say that if the seller is new dont buy from them, their items are FAKE…. not true and I am not just saying this because I am new…..it just sounds out-of-this-world to me and its more of a competition thing.

If the seller is from any other state than US then dont trust them……

FALSE!!!

How can we go and say dont trust anyone from china or asia or the UK just because were from the US….sounds a little racists in its own way to me. If that was the case you probably should look at 99.9% of the things in your home and you will find that they say MADE IN CHINA. So please stop saying this…… this is not a way to authenticate an item at all…….so nope NOT TRUE.

If the seller is a powerseller then you will be fine go ahead and trust them…..

FALSE!!!

I have been looking around on Ebay and I have personally found 5 listing for Louis Vuitton items from powersellers or sellers with over 500 feedback that were selling obvious replicas and I even emailed them, one seller responded and said ” Well I purchased this bag at an estate sale and they placed this tag on here” yep the hanging tag with the circle peice that says “LV” with the little peice of material!!! come on you have sold this many items and you still can tell a fake a mile away? I know you can but you are using your powerselling status to pass off these FAKES and your customers trust you because 45% or more of them are repeat customers, so they have no reason to doubt you…..but I do and I have zero feedback right now and I love LV and have alot, alot, alot of Louis Vuitton items and I can see a replica with my eyes closed.

Get your bag authenticated through My Poupette……

Yeah if you want to waste your money…no disrespect Carol but you guys have so many lawsuits against you that you should run very fast and very very far away. Do not trust these people if the Louis Vuitton store wont authenticate your item why do you think its legal for them to do it and charge you for it!!! In fact its not legal at all anybody can start a company Authenticating items and charge you $10-15 dollars to look at a picture and even more if they have you send the item in for the “professionals” to look at. Ha Ha Ha come on you guys are not specialist you are just some people who started a company probably just to see where it would go and was amazed at how many people started sending you $10-$15 or more (may not seem like alot but that adds up….people from ebay are not the only ones that use them) and then they dont even return emails in a timely manner…wanna know why? because they have so many lawsuits piled up against them that they probably dont even care anymore…….. but we can get back to them later or better yet contact LV for yourself and they will advise you against them and even tell you the legal action that the company is taking against them.

Louis Vuitton never sells wholesale……

I BEG TO DIFFER……….and here’s why

You can in fact buy wholesale from LV with a minimun purchase of $50,000 of course you are going to be bound buy rules and regulations but you can most definatily buy wholesale from alot of these companies…….and I wont even call it wholesale lets say volume discount. I mean think about it, if you were a corporation selling anything of any kind wouldnt you offer a discount to someone if they came and gave you $50,000 of their hard earn cash, credit or whatever! Of course you would it doesnt matter what your reputation is like this person is contributing to your success not the other way around…… $50,000 is alot of money point blank plain and simple, I dont care how much money you have its your money and to spend it like that should mean something to you. So that is FALSE you can most definatily get a discount of some sort from LV dont belive me??? call their corporate office yourself……I would list the number but I dont know if that is allowed on ebay or not. But you can find its buried and you will find alot of them but if your serious you’ll find out the information that you need/want to know.

Now lets talk about some Coach items (oh do I love coach)

Were still playing TRUE or FALSE

Coach never made that item……

Inconclusive……

Okay so some items Coach didnt make but where we all go wrong at is this……..Coach is nothing at all like LV you know how you can easily find out if an item was or wasnt made by LV buy browsing their website or eluxury or even calling them right….. but with Coach that is not the case at all.. Coach has alot of items that are not listed on their website and I mean alot of items, for instance you can go into Macy’s and see a Coach item that you didnt even know Coach made but come on do you really think that Macy’s is selling counterfeit items…….. of course not!!! the whole thing is that Coach is a more broad designer and their items are not all in one or two places like LV, ( and I dont mean that they only have 1 or 2 stores.. use your imagination) Coach Keychains for instance….. do you really think that Coach only made the 20 or so keychains that are listed on their website..Coach has so many keychains it will blow your mind if you believed that those were it? If you do come back to reality Coach send there items to cretain stores for a reason… you will never find every Coach item in one store, it’s evenly distrubuted out to their retailers.

You cant buy Coach wholesale or get any discounts..

FALSE!!!

You can get a discount on Coach from Macy’s (go ahead and try) and you can also buy wholesale from Coach by calling them directly ( the corporate office) I think the min. is $30,000 but I am not sure, but I do know that it can be done.

Just to conclude……Just because a seller doesnt have any feedback does not mean that their items are knockoffs and just because the seller is not from the US does not mean that the item is not authentic, just because a seller is a powerseller does not mean that the item is authenitic!!!

So everyone please learn to do your own research and dont just rely on the people who are trying to sell you the item to do the research for you! And if you still are confused you might be and there is nothing wrong with that, ask as many questions as posible and save all records because trademark infridgment is against the law and you can prosecute them…. yeah I know it sounds like alot but if you just sent someone $2000-$3000 just to find out that they only paid $100-$300 for the high end replica they sent you, its worth it……… Trust me!!!

Thank you all for reading and I hope you have learned something from this reveiw, and please use your own judgment as I dont work for these companies either I am just speaking on what I do know for sure!

Thank you

Dont forget to rate this reveiw ~MUAH~

In this guide I hope to give you some tips on how to buy authentic designer bags on Ebay. After many years of buying and selling on Ebay I like to think I have seen almost everything. Here are some simple tips to get you started with your buying experience:

1.) If it looks too good to be true it probably is…..If you see a $1200 Louis Vuitton for $400 chances are it’s fake. There are sellers on Ebay who buy and knowingly sell counterfit items for profit, hoping noone will catch on. Some sellers buy these fakes from the website Ioffer, Ioffer allows the buying and selling of fake merchandise among many other things. So before you buy on Ebay check to see if the same item is being sold on Ioffer and compare.

2.) Pay close attention to a seller’s feedback. I personally never buy from a seller with a feedback of %96 or lower. Look at their feedback and see if it’s primarily from buying or selling. Some sellers may have 800+ feedbacks but all are from their buying and none from selling.

3.) Read any auction listing carefully. Some sellers will post very very fine print at the bottom of the auction disclosing the actual condition of an item. Also see if the seller states the item is 100% authentic. If a seller does not guarentee authenticity of an item in the listing be sure to use the “ask a seller” link located underneath the seller’s ID to see if it is indeed authentic.

4.) Look at the photo of the item. If the seller only provides a stock photo be sure to ask to see more pictures, if they refuse move on. Look to see if the pictures all match. By that I mean see if the pictures are all taken in the same place, if not it’s a big red flag that the seller has decided to copy and past someone else’s pictures. Also take a good look at the bottom right hand corner of the picture, is there an outline of a camera, if so this is a good indication these have been “borrowed” from someone else and are not pictures of the actual item you will be receiving. Also look to see if there is an ID tag written across the picture, does it match the name of the seller or seller’s store? If not again move on.

5.) Always use Paypal to make your payment. If a seller only accepts checks or money orders this could be an indication that they could be fraudulent. For example let’s say you send $250 for a great Coach bag to seller ABC, seller ABC receives the check, cashes it, and you never see or hear from the seller again. Unfortunately when you send funds this way there are no guarentees. If the same situation happened but instead you had used Paypal to make a payment you could actually file an appropriate claim agains that seller and hopefully recupe your funds.

Hopefully these tips will help some of you newer to Ebay make your way around. Just remember if you have second thoughts about something there’s probably a reason. Ebay can be a great place to find deals if you know how and where to look for them. Always remember there are tons of sellers who are always ready and willing to answer any questions others may have. Please be sure to vote on this guide if you found it helpful! Good luck and Happy Bidding.

There are times we see estate sale and we automaticaly think “authentic” but did you know that most bags found in estate sales are not authentic?? that the people running the sales or the auctioneer may not know that is is a fake as well?? see if you do not do your research as an authentic handbag buyer you can be taken @ one of these estate sales. But guess what u dont need to be an expert handbag buyer to look for these things to bware of. A lot of the louis vuitton bags made within the 1980’s error are fakes this is when the fake handbag boom came about. so the lot of louis that was that came out back then were fake. look at the authentic retired styles of bags that were made in the 80’s and early 90’s. Then comapre them to many of the bags u will see @ the sales. they look very close in textute and style but with fake louis there is always a big problem that will always give the fake bag away the stitching is ALWAYS off!! it is never straight. trust me louis does not put out bags with flaws. besides the usual details including serial numbers real leather straps and trimmings, lv is always the right side up in those days. never lined with suade back then. never snap closures back then and never made in china EVER. smell the bag if it does not smell like leather its not. if possible bring some mink oil just a small portion rub it on the bag it should soften the leather instantly and make the bag soft and “moveable” if this does not happen there is a problem louis leather yeilds to mink oil always. all hardware maked louis vuitton not lv this is for the older bags only. this should help and if it did vote for me and see my other blogs as well about coach and dooney. thanks happy new year!!!

A little experience > I have been shopping for a COACH bag for a birthday present to myself. I thought eBay would be the place to get a bag at a good price as these bags are so expensive. I was totally surprised at the huge amount of new and so called “authentic” COACH purses – hundreds of them! Lots of the styles just came out as COACH releases new bags all the time, mainly at the beginning of each season, and couldn’t figure where all these Sellers got all these new bags to list. HMMMMM…..

Well, after already purchasing a fake Louis Vuitton on eBay (didn’t know it was fake at time of purchase), I thought I’d write about an experience I had today. I went to a store that was recommended to me that has COACH knock-offs. The girls that referred me to that store, told me one good way to tell if a COACH bag is fake, is if it has white stitching. COACH never, ever uses white stitching. I purchased a knock-off today from that store and let me tell you, does it look like the real thing! Yes, leather trim, well made, but bottom line > still not real. I only paid $75.00 for a very large tote replica, that came with everything that you see folks offer on this site. The dust bag, gift tissue, the white COACH tag attached > everything! My faux Louis Vuitton came the same way with all the perks that would make you think the bag was the real magilla .

Please > I’m not saying all the name brand, have to have purses on eBay are fake. There are tons of honest Sellers but the problem is, who are they? I just caught an eBay store with only Coach handbags for sale and what did all of them have? The white stitching. So, all I can say, is BUYER BEWARE! Just with any thing in life, if it looks to good to be true, it probably is. At least I know my bag is fake – a good fake – but fake. I just don’t want other Buyers to spend a ton of their hard earned money paying a high price for a bag that isn’t the real thing.

I understand eBay monitors authenticity, but with so many Sellers, and tons of listings, I can understand they can’t look at each one individually. So, that’s when it’s up to you, the Buyer, if you see any item you know is not authentic, please report it to eBay. It’s really simple, and it helps the honest Sellers out there.

I hope this helps at least one person from refraining the “what a deal” purchase, only to find the money the spent went down the tubes.

How to Look After your Designer Handbag

10 Tips for Bag Care

Follow, or at least consider these tips when you use your handbag. Your priority is to keep your bag looking good and stain free, yet to enjoy using it.

Look after your bag and store it in its dust bag cover or use a natural fiber soft pillowslip.

Handle your bag, especially lighter bags with clean hands.

Avoid handling the designer bag after applying beauty products, face foundation or hand creams.

If the weather is really bad and raining consider using a less special handbag.

Be careful when you visit a hairdressers with your bag, as hair products can easily splash onto handbags left on the floor at your feet. Clippings of chemically treated hair can land on the bag and leave marks.

When carrying a light colored bag consider using pencils rather than Biros-Biros can be difficult to remove. Don’t use your bag as a rest to place paper and write notes. Pointed pens can leave impression tool marks through paper rested on firm leathers.

If your bag has a chain handle, store the chain inside the bag to avoid scratching the outside leather when the bag is resting.

For storage, use bubble wrap to stuff your bags as it does not attract moths in the same way as tissue paper does.

If you are doing a big weekly shop then unless you are planning to impress a prospective Mr. or Mrs. right, avoid taking your special bag to the supermarket! Trolleys can scratch your bag and mark it permanently , as can spillage from foodstuffs such as yoghurts, cream, dips, squashy fruit, milk and even leaking cleaning products.

For long term storage, undo strap buckles so that impression are not created. Then if you wish to wear the strap across the body messenger style and need maximum strap lenght or need to shorten it to wera underarm style at a later date, this unbuckling of the straps before storage will stop areas becoming impressed and unattractive.

Store your bags in dust bags or pillow cases.

Don’t use grocery bags to store yoru best bags. When your precious bag is not on display, protect it with a dust bag or pillow case. There is no reason why you cannot just drop your handbag in to an old pillow case or your dust bag even when youa re at home and the bags contains yoru worldly goods. This way, a bag is less likely to get scuffed or scratched by pets and family or have odd spots of coffee dripped on it as others pass by.

If you have to store yoru bag in yoru desk or filing cabinet at work, check the drawers first for rough splinters or sharp edges that could damage and scratch your bag. Consider keeping a spare pillow case in teh drawer to cover your bag.

Follow the product cleaning instructions to the letter.

I must warn you never to inhale any spray products and use a well ventilated area and wear a mask.

Other cleaning treatments people have recommended include using baby wipes (they leave a great deal of lint behind) although they do work ok on coated canvas and hairspray on cotton buds to remove stubborn marks.

Saliva is also a suggested method by museums to clean leather, particularly carved leather in panels in ancient homes. Such carved leather panels may be dirty with smoke, dirt, and age. So this “spit” technique should also work on certain TREATED leather bags. Louis Vuitton is not one of these bags because of the untreated leather!!! Any of these will stain the bag further.

The craziest thing to clean Louis Vuitton with that works well. BRASSO. I know I know, harsh chemical used to clean hardware on untreated leather? You must be crazy. Well I wouldn’t recommend it to be used on new bags, but on bags that have a patina that is setting in it works well to remove ink marks and dirt stains. Yes I said ink marks. Finally something to remove them with. Take a small amount of Brasso and work it into a paper towel, then lightly rub the paper towell over the ink stain and it should easily lift without staining the bag.

If your not sure, test the ideas on an old bag or on a small spot on the bottom of the bags leather.

PS Brasso is also the best thing for cleaning hardware.

Bags in Transit

If you need to send your bag anywhere do make sure it is well packed and the box has padding around the bag. Put dangling metal logos or charms inside the bag or cover them with bubble wrap. Chain handles should be padded and if possible also placed into the body of the inner bag to prevent scratching the bag outer material.

Bag Insurance

You may wish to consider bag insurance. Most household policies only cover goods to a small specific amount. Therefore, it is a good idea to check with your insurer to make sure that they handbag and its contents are covered by your policy. This may mean adding a small extra premium to cover bag insurance. Specialist item extra insurance may be costly. Whether or not you take up insurance is your business, but be aware of the monetary factors.

Bag Safety

Look after your bag at all times. Fore safety on a day to day basis, always choose a bag with a full zip closure and inner zip pockets so random thieves cannot rifle through it in a moment. Open bags are easier to lose items from as well as attracting pickpockets. How often have you seen someone with their bag gaping open? If you noticed it then so will and unscrupulous chance thief. Probably often enough to know that care is not just about keeping your bag clean, but also preventing others from stealing it.
